Are you ready for a passage into the intercultural world? Then join us in this year’s Young SIETAR TOIT+ in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. You can join this hybrid event either online or live – depending on what works better for you. Never heard of Esch-sur-Alzette? Here is one fact in advance: it is the European capital of culture 2022.
The Young SIETAR TOIT format is highly enjoyed and appreciated in the intercultural community.
TOIT stands for the “Training of Intercultural Trainers”. As a TOIT participant you will learn, or add to your knowledge of, how to design, develop and deliver effective intercultural training interventions and (further) improve your training skills. At the TOIT you will get to know newcomers to the intercultural field, students with intercultural focus and experienced intercultural practitioners from all over the world. You will be able to network, learn from *experienced IC trainers and other participants, and plan the next stages of your intercultural career.

If you have read until here, you might ask yourself what “+” stands for. Additionally to the TOIT, we will offer you a cultural immersion into the culture of Luxembourg which is known e.g. for its multilingualism. And the event has a focus. Its theme is “A passage to an intercultural world”. It will focus on change, transition and the many nuances of it which are connected to intercultural training. In Esch-sur-Alzette we will all stay at one hostel and enjoy the social connection and the learning experience together. We are looking forward to meeting you there from 7 to 11 September..
