Examples of our current projects and activities:
Each year, we organize our annual congress in a different country. The Head Congress Organizer chooses her team and makes sure that the organization of the congress runs as smoothly as possible. The tasks of the team are various, e.g. program design, search for speakers, on-site organizations, congress website, search for sponsors, budget, etc. Our last congress took place end of October 2007 in Ravensbrück, Germany.
Besides our main annual event, the congress, we organize a number of trainings and workshops, such as a Young SIETAR Day at the SIETAR USA conference, a Young SIETAR Strategy Workshop, Train the Trainer workshops and others. The initiative often comes from our members and this way we want to give them an opportunity to try out their own methods and training ideas. Have a look at our events section for latest initiatives and further details.
The newsletter team is a group of dedicated people who publish the Young Interculturalist Young SIETAR?s very own newsletter.
