The Education Team
The Education Team has been created in 2006 to develop the E within Young SIETAR. The aim of this team is to contribute to global understanding by organizing different projects related to intercultural education for people from different age-groups because diversity is the world’s strength and tomorrow’s solution.
The goals of developing the E within Young SIETAR are:
Stimulate intercultural awareness and open-mindedness from a young age.
Share the knowledge of YS members with each other and the rest of the world about culture and cultural differences.
Published book series with stories that teach intercultural lessons. To be used in primary school and other similar settings.
Currently translating first book into three languages. All languages of book will include: English, Polish, Spanish, and German
Plans to write second book in series next.
Future plans to develop a series for secondary school aged youth.
