The Young SIETAR Intercultural Menu (or How to get involved and active)

Within the YS community and in the different e-groups there is a wealth of things you could get involved in, ranging from a small one-time contribution to a more lasting involvement of one of the project teams when organizing an event. All contributions are incredibly valuable to keep YS running and expanding to conquer the world... and for yourself to gain new experiences, get to know intercultural trainers/teachers/researchers from all around the world or just to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere when you feel you have accomplished something !

On this page we would like to highlight several ways for you to get involved in Young SIETAR. See it as the Young SIETAR-menu you can choose from!

An obvious way to start would be to join one of the existing e-groups:

Do you have great ideas for organizing a training course for Young SIETARians? Would you like to expand your knowledge, experience and skills on (intercultural) training courses? Are you interested in building the internal training database? Would you like to contribute to the next TOIT? There is so much the training section could do! Interested? It is enough to get in touch with the Training team at  training_[at]_youngsietar_[dot]_org .

Get involved with the Research Team to help organize the next Research workshop, or gather interesting papers / dissertations by Young SIETARians. Our Reseach team is open for your involvement, as well as ideas and suggestions. Drop a line at research_[at]_youngsietar_[dot]_org .

Join the Education Team to help out with contributing to the Intercultural Knowledge Database, to the database of Intercultural Programs or help expand the list of interesting intercultural links. Add your personal intercultural experience to the Why in the World-section for others to learn from. Contact education_[at]_youngsietar_[dot]_org .
