The Young Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research (Young SIETAR) is an international association that combines the efforts of students and young professionals from a wide range of practical and academic disciplines who share a common concern for intercultural relations. Through various activities Young SIETAR provides a unique opportunity to build a bridge in this dynamic field between juniors and professionals, educating a new generation of interculturalists.

We are always looking for sponsors who help us to successfully carry out our mission. Young SIETAR recruits its budget mainly from the annual membership and congress fees. We also try to offer lower membership fees and congress fees for students and young professionals in need of assistance. A lack of financial means often prevents people from this region to apply for membership or to attend events. To be able to follow our own policy, we decided to offer a wide range of sponsorship opportunities for companies, universities, and other bodies interested in using our society as a marketing platform. We offer a variety of congress sponsorship opportunities as well as general sponsorship opportunities.

Young SIETAR has brought together participants from around the world since 1997 to its annual international congress to establish networks and exchange intercultural knowledge, experiences, skills and insights. Past congresses in Amsterdam, Brussels, Wroclaw, Timisoara, Bratislava-Liptov, Berlin-Usedom, Zadar, Benageber-Valencia, Ravensbrück and Cairo touched and inspired students from around the globe. Consistent with its annual theme, each congress offers a wide variety of learning opportunities in the form of plenary speeches, workshops, panel discussions, simulations and off site sessions and specialized exhibitions.

With great pleasure we would like to inform you about the eleventh Annual Young SIETAR Congress that will be held from 25-11-10 to 28-11-10 in Istanbul, Turkey. The title of this year’s congress is Interculturalism Reloaded: Exploring a Changing Landscape.

The congress offers various possibilities for you to directly address students and young professionals from around the world as well as respected scholars in the intercultural field. Not only a unique opportunity to promote your company/university but perhaps even a way to recruit passionate future employees or students.

Since 1997 Young SIETAR has created an intercultural and academic horizon that we now feel ready to explore: A fascinating horizon of cultural and academic diversity interacting on a global scale.
