Secretaries are SO important for keeping an organisation afloat. Are you one of those more structured people who like to keep track of things and are not too adverse to numbers? This position might not be seen as the most exciting position, yet it is (and good for your CV) to be working in a virtual team with fellow Young SIETARians from around the globe. From record-keeping, compliance, keeping meeting notes advising others and more! It also offers the opportunity to participate in other projects that are run within YS –  take your pick!

Research Coordinator:

Are you the next Research Coordinator?

All you need is an interest in intercultural research; our vision for Research has been about supporting the beginning researcher and bringing research and practice closer together, not necessarily about doing research itself. You can help develop the R in Young SIETAR and contribute to this aspect of the YS community.

  • Leads the Research team

  • Initiates and/or supports new events/workshops/ideas for projects related to research & education

  • Searches for news in the field / Monitor educational and research activities

    • This may involve creating and hosting YS Webinars and YS Virtual Cafes focusing on intercultural research.

    • There is also the possibility to contribute to the developing YS mentor program to connect established interculturalists to those who are new to the field.

Time commitment: 2 + hours per month (varies per project interest)
